'97 Discovery, the Keyless entry does not work. I replaced the battery, but its still not working. Is this a dealer only fix? I did a search and only found the links for fixing the 94-95 Disco's with the single button controller. I have the 2 button controller. I also checked all the button connections on the inside of the controller while I was changing the battery and everything seems ok. Thanks in advance. Chris |

More than likely it will need to be reprogramed by the dealer or someone with a Testbook (LR specific diagnostic computer).

Chris, have a very carefull look at the connections where the battery mount stands on the plaque. Mine had a little crack that was not seen easy with the first look. If you dont have any other keyfob try the following link: http://www.remotekey.co.uk/eka.htm Also if you want new one Ian at http://www.remotekey.co.uk/landrover.htm will be very helpfull. |
