Wiper delay does not work right, wipers just stop at different places. Wipers work fine on low and high. Can any body help ? |

I had exactly the same problem. Replaced the wiper relay (passenger side footwell, on the sidewall, part number YWB10032L @ $10.95 each from NE British Parts). Still hosed on intermittant and fried the relay. Replaced the wiper motor ($$$) and the relay and works great now. A few hundred bucks for intermittant wipers. Don't know if it was worth it. Try the relay first. -Dan

I had the same problem which I thought needed a new motor. I found out later that the wiper mechanism must have been jammed. After I started to take the bolts off to look at the motor I tested the wipers and they worked perfectly. I didn't change anything. So before you buy anything loosen the bolts and switch on the wipers, see if that works. If not then I would try dagwood's advice. |
