Has anyone done this set-up from rovertym. Want more clearance without re-doing the whole suspension. Any pro's or con's |

how about the new 5" springs they have coming in mid may. it would be cheaper than a full kit and spacers. |

true you will need a bit more. for one, driveshafts will have to be built but anyone in this game has new ones anyway. if you have fabrication experience, you can make heimed longer lower (and stronger might i add) arms in the rear. in front, just re-key your spring perches and you will be fine. or better yet, ditch the radius arms and do a heimed 3 or 4 link. hell do heimed bars all around. all the problems solved. when will we start to see custom rovers out there that don't just use bolt ons. i agree with the reliability of the parts that have been tested but anyone with a few specialty tools and at least three teeth can come up with something that looks different than everyone elses. anyone willing to go out on a limb? |
