Is there a quality adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the market for D1?

I have found them useful keeping other mass air systems in tune.

changing the fuel rail presure is just a sloppy way to adjust fuel

lots of tuners have tried it and the good ones have all looked to other means to there disired goals.

Thanks for the advice Musky. The Disco is a lot different than the small block Fords I have been maintaining for so long.

not trying to be a smart ass...its just that clean injectors , funtional o2 sensors and a ecu running in closed loop mode balenced to the flow of the intake and exhaust will give you the best effieciency.

often when people are "tuning" with fuel rail presure they are just trying to compensate for the wrong injectors, incorrect base map of some other mismatched "performance" part

I agree. However, I have had oem regulators fail in spectacular fashion (read: just about blew myself & truck up), not LR but other makes. I have not had this happen with some of the quality aluminum regulators. I was however able to adjust them back to proper pressure until a suitable replacement was obtained. No problems with LR oem reg. yet, but the thought was get the best one for the D1 out there. If the oem is it, so be it, they will both fit in my boonie box just the same. With as many regulators as I have gone through over the years, it's just a part I expect trouble with reguardless of make on a fuel injected vehichle. Don't want to get stranded out in the middle of the corn desert! Any advice as to a quality regulator for D1 is appreciated. No rice or performance tuning about it. Just want to make it back home when I go it alone.
