These past few days I've been hearing a faint grinding/click-click noise as I drive forward. Last night I heard it while I was turning a corner but couldn't reproduce it. Today I heard another few clicks as I turned the other way but again couldn't reproduce it. I hear a very faint clicking as I'm driving slow and straight. I'm thinking its the CV joint, does this sound like a CV joint going bad?

Is it coming from the front or rear? What about differential? Have you drained your diff oil lately? If so, did you notice any chunks of metal on the drain plug? If you haven't changed it in a while, you may want to and look for metal chunks on the magnet of the drain plug.

Somtimes I get a clicking noise from the lug nut covers. They are just loose enough to be able to hear while driving very slow.

Porter I had the same problem with mine. I turned out the grease that was in the swivel was all dried out and had to be replaced that pretty much took care of the problem.

mine was also "clicking" as it was driven. turned out to be cheap brake-pads. :-)
