There is an 80kb size limit on attachements, so you won't be able to post a very big soundfile. And quite frankly, it's a waste of serverspace and bandwith, anyway.

Haha, Axel you dont care about how my exhaust sounds.........I cant imagine why not? Just kiddin, I was gonna try and figure out how to add it to a website but couldnt. It is a 50 series with resonator. I like it becuase above 65 you cant hear it at all, but it rumbes real nice around town.

Matt, listen for my D1 in the Knoxville area:-) It only gets louder over 65, but I rarely go much faster.

Matt, you could email me the file and I could upload it to my site...

My D2 sounds a bit cooler with the resonator off too.

Man Axel you have to listen to those crappy corvettes all day, that has got to suck, seriously ( I am not being sarcastic). I do feel bad, those things are annoying and sound like crap.

How Ironic,

Yesterday, I rode in a Corvette for the first time. One of our engineers owns a soft-top with all the digital Star Wars stuff on the dash. Anyway, damn thing went from 0-80 in just a few seconds. Unbelievable amount of power; but very very very loud.

Phillip,

The caddy is a Corvette. Built in the same plant on different lines.

Leslie: I agree, but does the same thing go for Vipers?

It was a different experience that's for sure. I do like the new C6 that is supposed to come out next year. If I ever get one, I'll be sure to paint it in true Dukes of Hazzard fashion.

Now for the person who wants to share their exhaust sound.......just do like the guy in the Cayenne commercials. Put your phone under the exhaust and floor it. Your neighbors will love it!

Victor you mean the XLR, not the CTS. XLR is the hardtop roadster that sells for around 70k I think. The CTS is the smallest of the caddy productes.

Well, Danno has a 96 D1, and a 96 4.6 RR in his profile. Hopefully its the D1 that we're listening to.

that one was a 50 series (3 chamber) Flowmaster (not the delta-flow) on my DI. those wav files were done back in 2001. i now have a 40 series (2 chamber) delta flow which doesn't have the resonance that the regular 50 series had. i just had the forward muffler replaced and the resonator removed. the 50 series is the same size as the stock muffler. my guess is that the 50 series delta flow would be pretty quiet, but will still have a nice tone.

now if i can just find a 96 D90 to round out the collection :-)

There was a guy on the D-90 list (I think) that actually had a '96 in the states -- was one of the "test run" '97s ... looked and acted like a '97, but the VIN states it's a '96, so they are out there!

What muffler would your recommend the 40's or the 50's? I like a nice strong flowmaster tone, but not too much interior noise? I'm thinking about buying a 40's off of my neighbor's 89 mustang. But i don't know how it sounds on a disco, any help would by greatly appreciated! Thank YOu!

Kevin,
if it's a older 40 series Flowmaster, it's going to be LOUD and resonate like a bitch... if it's the new 40 series Delta-Flow, you'll be OK, it's better than the standard 50 series that i used to have.

if you wanna hear the 40 series Delta-flow, give me a call, i'll do what they did in that Porsche Cayanne commercial.

Buy the GLOCK already Ron...

Ditto what Danno said. I got the new 50 with the stock resonator still and I dont think the average person could tell a difference. Kinda sad, but I can!!! BTW, you really dont want to get Ford germs on your Rover
