I am going to sell my entire darkroom. All a person would need is chemicals and four walls to start printing in a day. But I'm not sure of how much it is all worth:

DARKROOM INVENTORY:

Leica/Leitz Focomat Ic, no. 2048; 1:4.5/50 f16-f4.5 lens; four original Leitz instruction booklets ($8.00 - $15.00 ea.); original base; original locking print frame. 9/10 - 10/10

GraLab model 300 darkroom timer. 8/10

Singer professional Time-o-Light with foot switch. 8/10

Print Easels: one 3 x 5; one 8 x 10; one 11 x 14; one 8 x 10 contact print frame; two multi-size frames. 8/10

Kodak polycontrast filters.

2' x 5' Calumet stainless steel darkroom sink with stainless backsplash and lower shelf. 8/10

Six various print/chemical trays.

Arkay's Loadmaster model 1620-A rotary print washer.

Two stainless negative development tanks with extra reels.

Two Paterson Tank System 4 negative development tanks.

Various tongs, safe-lights, thermometers, 14 various beakers, other materials.

Books: Time/Life Library of Photography (14 books); The Negative by Ansel Adams; The Complete Photographer; Beyond Basic Photography; Kodak Darkroom Data Guide; Basic Developing, Printing, Enlarging in Black & White; etc...

If you have any input, or want to make an offer, I will deliver free in Portland area. But mainly I'm just looking to see if any of you know what that enlarger is worth?? I have tried to find it on eBay - there are two, not quite the same, not as many accessories, etc. And I can't find any for sale anywhere else online. Any help would be appreciated although I know it's a long shot!

Thanks,

RB,
I sold my darkroom with similar equipment a few years ago. I still have some stuff left over, but I sold most of it on Ebay. Search for the same items on Ebay and price accordingly. Also check out www.bhphotovideo.com and Calumet. You'd be surprised that stuff you bought 5 years ago still has the same price today.

A few years ago I would have been all over offering up cash for it, but alas I've been sucked in to digital.

You might want to try giving Glazers Camera in Seattle a call http://www.glazerscamera.com/ . they have a used department and are a pretty big outfit, so someone can give you an idea of what to sell it for. Usually very helpful.
Also, Prolab in Seattle might have an idea as most everyone who works there is extremely knowledgable and they have a number of people who have been in the business longer than I've been alive. they are a processing place, but you can probably grab someone's ear if you get the right person. http://digitalimaging.com/
