Disco Owners-

I myself am a disco 1 owner, as of right now, and i have found that these trucks suck. Let me just start from the beginning. A year ago i purchased my 99 disco1 with around 48,000 miles on it. When i bought it the guy selling it to me warned me on how fickle and well shitty these trucks are, but i did not listen. when i took it for test drive the "anti-lock" light was on. he said that it was due to a "bad sensor", little did i know that this would be common place in my vehicle experience. i still thought these trucks were "good" off and on road. allow me just to clarify that i know that i am on the number one LR enthusiast site, but i thought maybe you guys did something that i did not. anyway, the check engine light decided not too long into the year to make itself known, and as of yet has decided to go off.

why are these trucks like this?
why do they throw codes like there is no tomorrow?
why do the engines look like 60's Buick skylarks?

They, to me, are not worth the time, nor the money to keep them up. i have as jeep wrangler with more off road capability and has 140,000 miles and still going strong. crazy thing is, the only thing that i have ever replaced is the thermostat.

comments, cries of outrage, and yelling welcome!
