Is anybody here aware of the renovation work of Land Rover World of Florida and the Series vehicles they offer? Quality, Craftsmanship,...etc |

About 3 years ago when I was looking for my first Series I spoke with Tony (the owner) quite a bit. The only reason I did not purchase from him was the distance and shipping. Tony grew up in England and worked for LR in one of the their specialty departments. He now lives here and goes to the UK about 2 times a year to purchase vehicles. He works on of a few ways. but is very flexable. 1. You put down a deposit and tell him exactly what you want. Then you can take it "as is" or have him do the refurbishment. 2. By one he picks either "as is" or with your ideas for refurbiching. 3. By one he refurbishes the way he wants. According to him he is very picky about the all around quality of the Rovers he buys. Once in the US he has a local british mechanic go over the truck and fix any mechanical issues. Tony deals with the body work. I was very impressed with the work. He sent me tons of pics of examples. Your best be if you are serious is to contac him directly. I know there is often a good wait on custom Rovers. All that being said, I have never personally seen one of his trucks or know anyone who owns one. |

He's up here in Jacksonville Jamie. I just saw some new trucks on his site so, I don't think he's closing up shop yet. |
