Okay, sorry to rant and rave, but I am done with my dealer. They DO give great service most of the time, but I am so tired of all the BS. I drive 50,000 miles a year split between three LR I bought from the same dealer. My '01 SE7 has bad door seals all around, I am having engine and •••••• issues and my dealer will not do anything to help defray the costs of these repairs. I need to mention that I have 55,000 miles, and I was in the dealer one month ago UNDER WARRANTY, but they failed to mention any of these issues then. That is BS in my eyes. If they want me to do my $1,200 60,000 mile service there, they (in my eyes) need to jump on the phone to LR and get them to cover the repairs. Am I being out of line? Any ideas from anyone on if, and how, I can contact LR about covering these repairs? And finally, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME FIND A GOOD INDEPENDENT LR MECHANIC. Thank you for letting me vent. | ||

Which Dealer? I take my D-90 to Lake Bluff. No problems and great customer service. Post on the Chicago land Rover Club Bulletin Board. Should be able to get a more localized shop than one in the general chicagoland area. There is a specialized independent off of Willow in Lincoln Park. I think it is near Halsted street. Can't vouch for service as I have only seen it leaving my girlfriends house. EwS | ||

I had a guy in gurnee do some work and was pleased with the work and the price let me know if you want me to dig up his number. |
