hundreds of thousands in damages? what fucking bullshit...for ruts in the mud sounds like a insurance company is gonna get screwed. oh and to answer your question Andy about 24" to 48" deep. the trail has been rerouted in places to keep the traffic and big tires from digging down to the pipline itself. if you havent been there of late they have created a barrier of boulders on thunder mtn to keep you away from where the pipline is at it shallowist depth.
