How do you ship a roof rack? tried going though greyhound, but it would not fit inside the doors. Thanks. I'm doing additional searches right now, but figured someone on here might already know or have ideas I havent thought of yet concerning the issue. Thanks

Try Fedex Freight.

It's less expensive if you ship from and to dist. centers rather than door-to-door.

FedEx Freight tends to be a bit on the expensive side IMHO. I'd suggest going through Forward Air if you don't mind going terminal to terminal. They're really affordable, and super fast.

Chris, there really is only one plausible solution here. "ROAD TRIP" :-)

ForwardAir sent me my ARB bumper (used). I picked it up at the airport, strapped unwrapped to a pallet. Cost was $75 inclusive of the 'pallet' charge from Denver to Los Angeles. Delivered to airport by sender, picked up at airport at my end.....

I'm with Steve on this one. I had a Rovertym slimline and a roof rack shipped to Alaska. The cheapest method was truck freight. STAY AWAY FROM FED EZ!!!
