dude, you can probably go to any vinyl cutter and get them to make you some stickers.. using any color, font, size etc.. You could probably just print out that page Mike provided and take it to a local vinyl sign shop.. or get creative and design you own?? I got Land Rover hood decals in two colors done for $6 CDN..

It would be wrong to put that on a vehicle unless you have pulled out a Hummer.

I'm just sayin'

So if that were true Greg then I guess most of us should have Landrover Recovery team stickers :-)

Haha. I hear ya' Greg. Actually, one of the guys here at work (fire dept.) bucked up about 55,000 for a demo hummer 2 and everyone is saying "hey christian, now he has the best 4x4" I just laughed. he doesn't plan on doing anything with it. I asked what it had on it and he didn't know. How about the snorkel etc. and he says "I don't know" He'll get far with that vehicle. As far as my input on it..I think it's made cheaply and not as substantial as many think it is. It's an american made Tahoe or whatever with a welded three piece frame covered with a fancy LOOKING body. The leather seats seemed pleather and nothing close to nice and the gadgets inside were overdone. I wasn't impressed as much as I thought I could/would be. What's your input???

I rode in a new H2 when I went down to Manteca Cal. for baseball. The things wasn't very impressive to me. It sounded like it was about to fall apart. The interior was squeeking/creeking/cracking, when we drove down the street. All my friends were so happy about getting to ride in an H2. Whoopdy freakin' doo... I wasn't "amazed." I would love to ride in an H1, but an H2 doesn't mean shit to me.

All for looks...

H1's are pretty hard core, its like ur sitting a mile away from everyone else. They should have an on board pa system so pasangers can converse. There pretty solid, good off road, cept they can't get anywhere because of their size.

H2's are just plain pathetic! My uncle has a Cadillac Escapade and its a way oversized useless friggin tug boat.. Absolutly built for geeks with cash and no friggin idea...period! Now ...I met a guy in the trails with a real hummer and I mean an army model not an arny model.. it was sweet but the guy needed a chainsaw t widen all the tree trails...

anyway I got that off my chest.. I had a bad day smashed my headlight out crashin through 2 inches of ice into a 4ft deep pond.. and to all you H2 owners I didn't mean to hurt your feelings your truck looks cool all shiny in the parking lot...real neat 'O' you are! lol

The H2 drivers in Oklahoma use them as a "status symbol".. They have those wheels on them the ones that keep spinning when you stop? I believe they are called Spinners? Just plain worthless...My boss has one. Everyone at the office is so "impressed". I invited him out to go four wheeling with a few friends last weekend. His response was and I quote: It is suppose to rain.

H2 owners are posers - pure & simple. Honestly, they have more money than they have knowledge of off-road vehicles. H1 owners are a little better, but not by much - they just have a vehicle twice as expensive, but not with twice the capability. Granted, a showroom H1 is a little more capable than a showroom Disco, but for another $10G, you can build a Rover that'll almost pull an H2 (or H1 for that matter) up Yosemite's El Cap.

I was in Phoenix / Scottsdale last weekend on vacation. I saw about 10 H2's with spinners with super low profile tires! I just don't understand the concept.

Hey Mike, it's because that's all the H2's are good for - spinners and low profile tires. The original Hummers rock, though they are over-sized for most trails. H2's look kinda cool, but they are nowhere in the same class with the original Hummer's. H2's are just chevy Z71 trucks with a Hummerlike" body.

Great input fella's. I've been doing a triple shift here at the fire department and two or three of the other's are commenting on how cool the new hummer 2 is and that my DII is just no match for it and I just keep laughing under my breath. The dude who bought it couldn't even tell me if it had a snorkel or what that even is. Did you ever see the compressor on it? mounted under the rear bumper on 1/4 steel plate. open to ALL the elemnts etc.

Another thing..if their so freakin' nice how come you don't see all the big stars in Hollywood driving around in them (other than some H1's) but you DO see them in Rangie's and Disco's..Hmm, has to be something said for quality and overall breed of the type of people that choose a rover over a hummer2....

Christian you hit the nail on the head! ALL the celebs drive Range Rovers and Discos (hell rovers are in all the rap/hip hop songs too) .. H2's are huge boxes on spinner wheels.

I guess we all hi-jacked this post to bring a little reality to the H2... I think the type of people who buy H2's are the type who couldn't tell a ferrari kit car from the real deal.. Just like guys who bought H2's don't they realize the H2 is actually a ladies version of the Original HUMMER.... and as far as movie stars and rappers well 95% of them are the biggest goons we have around us... and the other 5% dont drive Hummers..

Blinded by the Bling!

Damn has been said before leave the H2s alone. They have their place. If a driver wants to talk smack then deal with them individually. I don't see why you would baste them so bad, most will never go offroad as will most rovers. They have their enthusiasts also. I have seen many websites where they get them to do some pretty impressive stuff. If you've got the money then why not, If I had the money I would buy a new rangie and take it off road, but I don't. As far as in hollywood, almost every rapper has one. 50cent has a sweet one, now it is for the road and status only but who cares.

So you dont like them. Get over it. You can pull on all stickers you like, but remember - so could he. Then what? You will beat him up to proove your rig cooler?

And arguing that celebreties riding same rig as you - pretty lame, IMHO. I wouldnt give a rat's ass on who of them rides same truck. Specially most of Hollywood "artists".

I am with Aaron on it - to each his own.

I saw an H2 last week with a vanity plate. It read "I know". I thought it was funny.

Melissa - I wonder how many of the OK/H2 owners are just trying to out-status the OK/LR owners? Every time I am in T-Town, I am amazed by how many upturned noses I see when I wave at other LR owners. Not all, just most. But the H2 crowd is definitely status-based. It is the same in NW Arkansas - Lots 'O Money, Lots 'O H2s. Oddly enough, the only driver in NW AR who has acknowleded my presence drives a bright yellow Hummer (original). Probably because he is the only one who's non-steering hand isn't holding a cell phone. :-)

BUD.. Everything in Oklahoma is status based! I just wish I was a Gaylord :-)
I always wave @ other LR drivers in OK..Now not all wave back for fear of dropping the cell phone in the other hand! PS Bud if we ever meet @ an OK Rovers meeting I will be SURE to give a BIG LR WAVE! ;) Will you be @ SCARR? Melissa
