Hi All! well after 2 months I got my truck back w/a new engine and heads, all for just $200.00. It went in under warranty for a leak. They said it was a head gasket and some other stuff (transfer case). Well come to find out they installed the gasket wrong and that translated into a brand new engine and heads. They did give us a loaner Jag and that was hard for the wife to give back. Now the truck runs great (knock on wood) it has more power and the gas milage seems alot better. At first the Dealer did $3,800. of work and then the 2nd time they had to eat the engine and the hours. All that to get my truck from leaking  . The dealer is in Monterey CA. they did step up big time (No it wasn't the same tech that replaced the engine that blew the first). Well now I'm looking at getting my wife a Jag, so this did cost me more than $200.00 Oh-well, Now time for the trails, happy Roven! |
