My 3 year old son hooked a strap up to pull his daddy out. Note the Safari Gard and DiscoWeb stickers...Thought the picture was too good not to share.

New recovery vehicle?

Cool,

My little one (3 years old also) hooks a rope in the hook of the curtain at home, he pulls it and says: "c'mon Petros hit the gas"...

Petros

Too bad they don't make the defender version of that thing. I guess it's a jeep thing, I wouldn't understand. JK

Brian - it was easy. Ken/Gang are nice, responsive, etc.

Truck prices were good. Little peeved about an accessory cost (changed my perception a bit), but I try to steer away from buyer's remorse.

I'd buy from them again - and probably will. Not sure on service yet. How about you?

Check out the Archive article in the March 2004 LRO. Its about a Series 1 that was build for Prince Abdul in 1963. Now thats a toy i wish i'd had as a kid.

Cheers

Yep - there's actually a design/kit you can buy for a wooden, electric-motor driven IIA that somewhat resembles the one built for Prince Abdul. Of course, it would be plywood versus aluminum, and cobbled together versus superior craftsmanship, but you get the point.

Last saw the kit on ebay.
