I recently purchased seat covers for my '96. Given the vast selection of seat covers out there in the market today, I think I had made a good choice.

The seat cover is sold facctory-direct by Alan Graham Motoring Accessoriesis in Northridge, CA. This cordura seat cover is waterproof and installs neatly on the Rover. The price for the front seats and headrests is $190 w/ CA tax and shipping. I must admit the material is tough and well built. The covers also shows the stitch pattern of your original seat w/c gives it a nice custom look.

This vendor is worth checking out. www.alangraham.com

Cheers.

Can you please, please, stop using caps in subjects?

Also from website i dont really like look of those. Will hide lovely handles on sides of seats.

I went with http://www.jeeppart.com/details.asp?cid=67
Holds piles of stuff (its almost like rucksack), leaves handles opened, and material is prooven to be pretty good.

Then again i like my seat covers to be utilitarian.

Segei,

Does it bother you that I use caps in my subjects?

What's the big deal?

If it scares you, it might be a good idea to visit your shrink!

The midi songs on that website are enough to scare me off.

I guess I will go without seat covers.

Raymond,

It is recognized all around the PLANET that using Cap Locks on a BBS or chat room is rude.

Hehe, like Koby so eloquently demonstrated, caps means you're shouting.

Koby, just splurge and get some Melville and Moon seat covers. :-)

i ordered mine from england....120.00 including shipping to my door in california for the whole set (not including jmpseats). it took about ten days for them to arrive..tracked them the whole way online..............the are fully waterproof, bomber construction, and have lasted me three years now of serious abuse........

order them from england.....much cheaper than anything here in the states! and the quality is great.

Three years ago with a favorable exchange rate perhaps. The dollar is very weak against the pound right now so I don't think that that idiom is useful anymore...

Sam, they do. Just make sure if you go with them that your leather (if you have leather) is completely worn out or cracked, because once the wet okles seat covers are one for a while, they pretty much ruin the Leather seats, They did in my Bronco atleast. Trek outfitters has them on their website I think, shows then in a Disco and they look pretty good.

Quadratec catalog is where i spotted them first, but they were on backorder for like two weeks after i ordered so i gave up and bought them from site on that link. Shipped immideatly.

These are ones that i have: "56601 SeatWare Vest Fabric SeatWare Vest Fabric, 76-02 Jeep CJ & Wrangler, Black ". Thougt about spice color, but then figured that its already tan inside :-)

They leave handles and headrests zone open (well i dont really have headrest on my Disco 94. Just longer seats with them handles on the top). It takes a bit of cursing to snag them on - as they really designed in way where they wont slip or anything. So they got bunch of belts to go under seats, to keep back in place & etc.

You getting whole bunch of pockets :-) Btw if you get pair - make sure you figure out left and right one - there are side pockets that you might get either on side next to console, or next to door. I like mine to be next to console, as overwise you keep rubbing against them, when sliding out from vehicle with lift or tall tires.

Well beats me what is it. I know its not neoprene, b/c i hate neoprene :-) Had it in my XTerra and got rid of it after 2 months, b/c it produces a lot of static electricity, and i am not comfortable with haveing them static discharges at the petrol pump.

According to site its "woven fabric". I'd say its some kind of synthetics + cotton, but i am not really good at this. Its pretty thick though, and holds against spills and very easy to clean, i can tell that much.
