Can anyone recommend another skid plate for the steering rods? I have the LR ones (I believe they are Southdown) but they seem to hang down pretty low and do get caught up on steep approach angles. The nice thing is they kind-of protect the front diff by creating an angle that any rocks would first hit the steering skid plate and hopefully slide under the front diff.

Do those LR steering skids fit with an RTE slimline with the RTE skid plate? I'm tired of bending my steering rods. Or would that just defeat the approach angle of the RTE?
