When I have time im am going to fix my tuck and bring it to boston ths spring. I am also going to get a set of bogger for an offroad tire. Considering i live in an apt up here it will be tough to store another set of 33" tires. Will it be unbearable to drive around in boggers all the time in the city? Is there any place where i could keep a second set of tires? or should i just leave the boggers in NJ? I also have a set of AT's but am looking at 33" kumho's as a strictly street tire.

Rick,
I don't think you'll want to use the boggers as your daily tires -- the tread may beat you to death, and remember that they're bias ply, so you won't get the longevity out of them that you would even a radial swamper, which isn't stellar either. With the cash it'd take just to buy those, I personally wouldn't use them up on the pavement. That said, when I ran multiple sets of tires, I rented a storage space and kept them there -- worked pretty well, as I had ground-floor access. Just my .02

If I were to get an "off road only tire" it would not be the boggers.

trXus M/Ts are a good compromise IMHO, I have them and love them, and they are radial tires so hopefully will last around 30k if I'm lucky.

I say stick with the ATs and get boggers when you are out of the city. I park in downtown Boston too and plan on getting a 2nd vehicle when I graduate in two years. You might also have to take off the rack to fit in the garages here.

Don't count on your Trxus tires lasting 30K!! Mine are at just under 1/2 with 9K.
