A local dealer has a 99 D2 for sale with 88k on the clock for $12.9k is this a good deal? The truck is in great shape. I had a 95 D1 and loved it. Are there any inherent problems with the 99 D2s?

At this point I cant decide whether to get another 95 or make the switch to the big- backend.

 Thanks.

used to have a '96 but traded it in for a '99 DII
i like the '99 (still runs great with 130k miles) but liked the '96 more - i'd go with the DI but that is just my opinion - DII does drive a little better on road though

That sounds like a good deal, but you should be able to talk them down a lot more. My friend just won a loaded 2001 D2 on Ebay with 66k for $13,500. But if it comes certified pre-owned you are one up. I got my 1999 D2 certified preowned a year ago and they fixed everything I told them to for free. when I took delivery.
