So...I'm turning 25 on Friday...a quarter of a century. It must be all downhill from now.

AND, the release of the LR3 is scheduled at the NY International Auto Show...

Wow, I'm going to be depressed! :-)

Hey Susannah, where did you get that Tally-Ho, Y'all sticker?

My parents live in Charlottesville, and my car has VA tags... Would love to get that sticker.

SSV. It is all down hill after 25. They give you a walker at 30 and at 35 you can use medicare to get that scooter you're going to need.

By the way, Happy Birthday Grandma!!! At least now I know that when I see that bright light in the southern sky it will just be the glow from that bonfire you'll be calling a birthday cake.. All kidding aside.. Happy Birthday hope that you have many, many, many, more. :-)

Hey, might be going to GWNF on either the 17th or the 18th you want me to let you know if we do. So far it's looking like me and my friend with his stock Cherokee. Will probably run Dry River and then decide where else from there. I'll shoot Enoch an email too.

SSV, at 25 you're just getting warmed up. The great years are ahead of you. And like Felix, I love the Tally-Ho Y'all sticker. Do you sell them? I think they'd work in California, too. Don't sweat the birthdays (but have a happy one); age is a state of mind and you seem to think young. Here's to another hundred or so! Ray

Thanks everyone! I'm gonna do my best to party it up. One more stage in the legal status...I can rent a car now without paying extra! :-)

Eric, I"M NOT A GRANDMA! I"M NOT EVEN A MOTHER! But I do love those electric scooters! :-)
Email me about GWNF...we may not be able to come, but I can check.

Mantaray, email coming your way. It's been one hell of a week for me.

Felix and Ray, the sticker (should I reveal my sources?) is from Land Rover Cary. You can actually order one for free from them on their website. I got one about 5 years ago when I was still dreaming about owning a Rover, now I have two and about 4 of those stickers! I'm an equestrian, so it was very fitting! Felix, are your parents native to C'ville? I'm actually looking for jobs up there!

LOL, does the "D" in your name Paul stand for "Digger" as in Grave Digger???? "Paul 'Digger' Morgan" BTW, you're quite precise with your age aren't you? :-) I guess that makes me 32.333333.

Eric, one thing I've noticed since passing 30 is that nothing really changes anymore except time. I seem to have less of it.

Karen, yes ma'am. I hear ye o wizen one? :-)

No, actually we are from the New York City area. My Pop is a professor and is now working at UVa... Good luck finding decent paying work around there.. I used to come home for summer, but now I stay in Colorado because I can't make jackshit in Virginia!

Damn Phillip...you beat me!

Paul, you are the best. You can bet when I get that damn lift, I'm gonna call you! :-)

Eric, that actually makes me feel better to know your age. So many people have been bugging me to have a baby...I'm nowhere NEAR ready! Few more years.

Greg, Alan, Karen, and Paul....you guys are the grandparents of D-web! hahahahahahahahahaha J/K

(The sticker right below the Tally Ho says "Altitude Affects Attitude"...that's actually my favorite and it's from Asheville, NC.)

SSV-I really disliked when people would ask about us about having kids. We were married 13 years before #1. Why on earth are people in such a hurry to have no time to themselves? I finally developed an evil stare for this specific question, they then knew to not ask again! :-)

Oh by the way, we share the same birthday! Cheers!

Al,

I just like giving Sus peer pressure. This is because I have actually seen her drive her D1 on trails.

Happy Day, SSV. I am over double that, and still heading up the hill. Ain't that what you are supposed to do with a Land Rover? See, you are a Senior DWeb member, but still just a young thang. Have a good and safe one.

Happy Birthday to Tim as well!! :-)

Alan, I don't mind Paul's pressure. He is a great influence for inspiring Rover modifiers! And, I might add, he knows I'm a damn good driver! :-)

Bud, thanks for noticing I'm a senior member....sad, sad, sad.

Let's just hope I get good Rover stuff for my birthday and that the LR3 is better than it looks in pictures! ;)

I've lost too many brain cells to even remember being 25.

Enjoy the day and have a few for me.

Wow! Bobbi turned 1 today!
I sang happy birthday to her and then she bit my nose.
Eric, let me know about next week end. I might go along also.
By the way, I'm 42 and in better shape then most of my "younger friends". Happy Birthday SSV (please don't bite my nose now).

Chris, I'm going to take that as a compliment...I think....? :-)

Walter, is Bobbi your dog? I'm hoping! :-) You're in Harrisonburg...very cool! My husband's family lives near Waynesboro and I grew up in Staunton.

Thanks everyone for the great wishes. It was an excellent birthday weekend...even if it didn't involve wheeling. :-)

Yeah Bobbi's my dog. I don't tolerate nose bites from anyone else.
Some time when you guys are in the neighborhood we'll have to hit the trails.
