During our planning for our Thelon River Expedition, we considered and tested pak canoes.
These diverse boats come in a bag and can handle a ton of abuse. We liked them so much, we now sell them at www.puffinboats.com.

It turns out we will not be using them for this trip, but I now have a place in the trucks for one on offroad trips.

If you have not considered a folding canoe or kayak, it can be a great addition to your offoad equipment. Gets the hard boat off the roof and into the truck with minimal space required for storage.

This is a bit of a shameless plug, but the boats are very cool.

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

John
