Im getting ready to have a set of 245/75/16 GY MTRs mounted and would like to know if I can get around town for a week or two before I can get a chance to trim. Or should I trim before getting them mounted. Is the front bumper going to be an issue as well? Its a 98 D1 and has a OME HD lift. |

From the Tech Section of the site; "245/75-16: popular size for OME suspension lifted vehicles. require slight trimming on the rear wheel well fender, and may also call for adjustment on the steering bumpstops. " you may have more luck posting this under Dicovery-Technical Questions

You can get around town. Do not turn to tightly and do not compress your wheel into the well and you will be just fine. Only needs trimming on the rear, the front will be fine. |

John, you should be fine unless your stuffing your rears. Just do the rear fender relocation trick by KVT under the tech section here on DWEB and save that sheet metal until you go up in size. |

John, you can leave them as they are. The tires will clear the space they need |
