Away we go! Large soccer tourney in the metropolis of Tulsa this weekend. Normally, we would just be driving the Disco2 with all the soccer decals on the back window (Bud Lane gallery), but I have a gig back home Saturday night and have to leave early, so we'll also be taking the 92 RR. Under most circumstances, I would get a pretty large charge out of taking both of our rigs anyplace, but I supsect that in T-Town, I will be parking amongst a veritable sea of H2s, Lexi, and anything else that projects "look at me, I got money". Don't mean to bash the folks that are blessed, but I if my Land Rovers say anything to the world, it is probably "My truck, my repair bills, my business". I think I will replace my fading DiscoWeb stickers with some fresh ones. That oughta help confuse the "opposition" even more. Bud |

Fresh Disocweb stickers, when I first put mine on, people thought is was some new wave music site. So don't be suprised if the money crowd doesn't just think you trying to advertise for some music web sit. |

Hey Joey & Bud I keep a wad of stickers in my cubby hole for other unsuspecting Discofiles that haven't cottoned on yet. Man, there are so many old school dudes with 200 & 300Tdi D1's here it ain't funny. Like Series 3 are dead - Now buy D1 (circa 1983 talk) They are so cool though, You'd pull up anywhere and an old boy will pull up next to you and usaully talk diesel with you (I don't know much - but at least i'm interested) and tell ya how to fix shit etc. LONG LIVE THE OLD BUGGERS I say!!! |
