Has anyone had their LR serviced with them, British Pacific recommends them - and I need to have someone diagnose/solve a possible replacement of the front wheel bearings. Its a little over my head as far as mechanics. Does anyone recommend anyone else? | ||

Ihear they do good work but they scared me off when I took my 1969 IIa in there years ago. Kept popping out of gear. One of the guys there told me it would be atleast $4000 and the trans needed to be replaced. This without even driving the car. I said thanks but NO thanks. Went home and within an hour had solved the problem by tightening a little retaining nut under the tunnel cover. I dont like to think they would have replaced the trans and charged me $4k or worse tightend the nut and charged me $4k. But I hear they do good work. I just won't be using them. |
