I've got the bug pretty bad, need a project, I've done a little research and feel confident I know what to look for in what I want.

Are there a few reputable shops selling that I should check out as well as all the individual postings around?

I spoken with David at TRG, who else?

Unless you are looking for something in restored condition I would not look to any other "professional" shops. As far as enthusiasts, people like me, Ike, Tom B., etc etc etc generally have an idea of whats out there and have different areas of concentration. For example I can tell you where a lot of the dormobiles and SI 80in are in the US are, Tom B is a diesel/SI enthusiast, and Ike finds all sorts of original unique LR parts and Ike seems to always know of a lot of decent trucks.

Depending on your location and time frame I would hook up with the locals (club or otherwise) and see what they know of and have them keep their ear to the ground.

I got mine from private owner at www.lrx.com

Also, if you live on the Right Coast, try www.skytoprovers.com

Thanks, it has taken me about 24 hrs of obsessive reading and searching and I have found a ton of info and what appears to be some very interesting websites (including skytop and lrx).

I've decided on IIA 88 for now, I'm looking for good solid mechanicals, cosmetics are secondary unless there's a deal to be had.

My search has begun, I can see i have a lot to learn...

Mike, There is a real nice one for sale here in Hagerstown. Thomas has about 20 pics and can email them to you from his work. 1967, 33k miles, soft and hart top, very clean and solid.
