It seems that I cannot ID what type of master cylinder is in my 1971 IIA. Both Haynes books do not ID it and Rovers North nice pictures don't either. It clamps down on both sides and has two resovoirs. It is galvanized looking(not Plastic).

Any Ideas.

If you could give me a pic I might have a shot. What I would do is convert back to stock or better yet SIII.

Now what could go wrong with a master cylinder? Should I try rebuilding the damn thing but hell I have no idea the make of it or should I just get a new one? They look pretty simple....

Usually you just replace them.

What do I know "Disco boy"? I know you ordered a new one today. Ron, Don't encourage Thomas to rebuild anything just yet. If you know about his carb rebuild you would understand. (he he)
