WTB--Knackered 2.25 Petrol engine

Got an old 2.25 sitting in the garage that needs a complete rebuild?

Want to get rid of it?

I'm looking for a good block (or more) to build a 2.25 in my garage. My reasons are 2-fold.

1. Enjoyment and education: I want to learn about engines and the LR 2.25 is about as simple as it gets. I'd tear it right down to the block ands start fresh, learning as I go. Eventually . . .

2. I'll drop it into a Series Rover that I will build as time, money and parts trucks become available.

Some discussion about this idea: ../3/13611.html"mailto:david@nomadcom.com">david@nomadcom.com) I'd love to chat about it. I am located in Windsor VT and have wanted a Series Rover for so long, I can't remember NOT wanting one. But I am also financially challenged. This would be a great way for me to start building my dream-truck, learn about engines, and for you to get that giant paperweight out of your garage.

Thanks

Ron
