I'm getting a Roverdrive from Ray Woods up at Rocky Mountain in a week or two. It's coming off a test vehicle they were going to send to Australia, but they have decided go with a 300tdi engine/transmission instead. He mentioned that due to the drive train switch, the engine & transmission are for sale as well. I have no affiliation or interest. Just passing on info. The unit in question is a recently rebuilt 1983 five main bearing motor with new carb, distributor, water pump, clutch etc. together with a rebuilt late model Series III transmission. He's asking $3k which, from what I have seen engines & transmissions going for, seems like a pretty good deal.
- Jeff I laughed. I cried. I fell down. It changed my life.

5-main with a late SIII trannie would be cool... Not that *I* need it, or could cough up the $$ for it, but, something to keep in mind in case anyone else is looking... -L |
