I haven't done it yet but I was planning on soldering two banana plugs to two clips and using it for ......what ever came to mind.

RN and other LR suppliers stock this artifact from the earliest days of motoring in the UK. A friend who used to collect the most arcane automotive accessories at auto jumbles (read: flea market) in the UK had several neat MG accessories: a gen-u-wine, brass Lucas trouble light. Kind of egg-shaped, it had the bulb in one end and a wind-up reel for the cord in the other, with this two-prong plug on the end.

Remember the Lucas motto:

"A good day's work and home before dark."

Cheers

Could also be used to hardwire a power invertor
