Protection for 109 ex-military

Anyone? Sumo bars, or Dan Bars or just sleeving the links is the way to go with the steering. I would not worry about a rear diff gaurd but thats me. I looked into getting one of those from RDS (a steering protecter for 50 bucks!!) but the Defender unite will not fit a Series rover. Is this true? Is there one designed for the Series rover? If so, is there anywere to get it? I too am looking into protection for my 109 so I am going to follow this thread closely. Thanks y'all!! Most of the guards for this type are a tube type. I think "rons custom" diff guards are the defacto diff guard.
