Puddles is back on line after her January roll. Finished the body work. Just need to decide on a paint. I think I might go back to the original Bronze Green.

I dunno... I kinda like the pastel green.... but bronze green isn't bad, either.... nor marine blue, or sand, or limestone, or sandglow, or poppy red.... Uh, I guess any of 'em classic Series Rover colors is fine.... lol....

I've often thought of British Racing Green, myself... a bit brighter than bronze green, but still much darker than pastel... kinda like an Epsom green maybe....

The real pisser is that I have to go out of state to get paint mixed to match LR colors. We can't use DuPont or PPG paint codes to get paint mixed locally. They can try to do a match, but can't use the codes.

I found a place, but it's frustrating that I have to have paint shipped to me if I want a real LR color.

Welcome to the PRC.

Jeff,
Is that my ex-cover in the last picture? I'm glad to see it has a good home. It was not happy sitting on the shelf in my closet-I kept finding it on the floor...then again that could have been the cat.

Yeah that's it. Didn't want to have a spare sit up there and get eaten up by UV rays.

I'll take better pics showing it in it's entirety, but this is what I have now. I will take more pics when I paint it.

The bar is only on the cappings so in reality, it provides about the same protection as a hard top. It won't help much in a highspeed accident, but will be nice security off road. I will also look into using it as a point to mount shoulder seat belts.

"Patches" looks like she's coming along nicely.
