Besides this board, Rovers North Series board, Guns and Rovers are there other boards for Series trucks worth a darn?

Is there a FAQ somewhere for the newbie Series owner for stuff like lubs and "tricks"?

I've got the parts thing down I think.

Also look at http://www.seriesrover.com (now starting to become outdated, but has a few handy things on it) and http://www.bayourovers.com (a great page) and also http://www.lrfaq.org (which should be the updated version of what you just found).

Michael: one of my favorite sites is Jim's Bayou Rovers (www.bayourovers.com): lots of great ideas on how to rescue and keep old rovers running.

Thanks guys. Bayourovers was one of the first sites I "stumbled" onto, these others are all new to me which will keep me busy for a few days.

BTW, I just finished reading that thread about the "dream" build-up project from about a year ago. Inspiring and very educational to say the least.

I just purchased a 67 88" that is in excellent condition, so out of the box, there's not alot to do to it, but it'd be fun to find one of Jim's "left behinds" and build it up to a usable daily driver. I like the idea of starting with an ex-MOD 109 with the short cab....
