Sean, I've not done it myself but only helped, and I've no templates to offer. However, I can say that David can talk you though it, it's not that hard. Start small, in the center of the place to be cut, then enlarge as needed. That way you can get it right w/o having cut too much. Also, as far as the alpines go, there's that nifty trim piece that covers the edge, so you don't have to have a perfectly-smooth edge to it (although the smoother it is, the better off you'll feel about a job well done). With the vents, it should be similar, but you have to be more careful as that you don't have the trim piece the way you do with the alpines, you only have the vent-body itself. You can do it, just remember the old addage, you can always cut off more but you can't put it back. -L
