Hi Thomas, That site looks promising(?). I wonder what their costs would be for the upgrade and shipping. Eric Y. |

There is an Brit company that has been doing disc brakes for some time. Next time I run across the flyer I post the info. Look in your Rover Mags for the advertisement. The guys in England I deal with highly suggest them but for the life of me I can not recall the company's name |

So it doesn't mean 15" rims. This is a new measurement for me on tires. Bill at great Basin said they need to be 16" rims. Maybe he misunderstood my question. |

"The kit requires the fitting of 16inch 6J wheels" as i quote the article. this means, diameter 16" x 6" wide i dont know what the J means but it always follows the rim width. either J or JJ the reason you need 16" is so that inside diameter of the wheel doesnt rub the brake caliper. rd

Just my 2 cents. I've spoken with David Gage at www.thatchedroofgarage.com before, and it didn't look like it was going to be a problem upgrading my Rover to disc brakes, though I have the 15 inchers. Now, the kit isn't exactly pocket coming in at no less than $1200 as far as I remember. I "appreciate" the stopping power my Rover has, but wouldn't mind the reliability of discs. |

I think I should first put a new servo in. I get brake fluid leaking on my toes. |
