Anna,

While I can agree that it's a good thing to post something on the Series board to draw attention to the fact you've got your 109 for sale,

a) it really belongs over on the "for sale" section, and

b) if you're going to post it for sale, you need to have the requisite information such as ball-park asking price, location, contact information, etc.

Speaking of....

Where is it, and how much are you asking?

The reason I posted it in this section is because I need some advice about selling it.

Maybe I should have said that. Sorry about that.

I have had the vehicle for 4 years and love but, it is time to say goodbye.

The truck is in Whistler, BC, Canada.
And I really don't know how much it is worth.

Help?

Ah, okay.....

a) try to sell it to someone in the US; Canadians are wise enough to recognize that it's a 40-some year old uncomfortable tractor in disguise as a vehicle, whereas in the US it'd be not-as-common and you've got the strength of the dollar (okay, that's laughable, if we were comparing the dollar to say, the pound, but, yeah, if you could sell it for $8k US instead of $8k Canadian, well....)

b) What are its strengths? What are its weaknesses?
Chassis? Bulkhead? Are they solid, patched, already replaced at some point, or in need of....?
Engine? Driveline? Ever rebuilt, replaced, or all original? Some other bits swapped in?
Wiring? Springs? Interior? Paint? etc. etc. etc....

I mean, looking at it in the pic it looks nice; but, it really tells you nothing about the condition.

More detail, and, we'll see what we can do to get you a decent ball-park asking price, if that's what you're wanting. (But if you just want to donate it to the L.N.B. Rover collection, I'm sure that it'd be most welcome! lol..... :-) )

Leslie,

One of these days, you might actually end up with someone donating a rover to your "collection".

I can see it now.

Anna, that's a good looking 109. But I agree with Leslie, you need some additional information, especially with infrastructure on that Rover to help determine a good asking price.

lol, I just believe that every Rover deserves a good home.... instead of being someone with a houseful of cats, I want a yard full of Rovers... :-) I've got a LONG way to go before I catch Ron and Alyssa Brown's collection, tho'.... lol......

I think that's worth about $1500 - drop me a line and I'll find someone to take it off your hands.

Thanks for the feedback.

I am not that mechanically knowledgeable.

I know it has a rebuilt engine in it and all the parts are stock. It did have bigger tires but I went back to the original stock tires as I was doing more road driving and the big tires just didn't make sense.

It does have a safari roof. It's a canvas roof that you can partially pull back or complete remove in the summer.

I will attach a few more pictures.landrover01landrover2landrover3landrover4landrover5landrover8
