I knackered one of the wheel studs trying to get the lug nut off. I have a replacement, but can't figure out how to get the old one out? Does anyone have any tips short of just hitting it harder? Thanks, ALex |

alex. heat the back of the hub with your torch, use the lug nut on the stud, tighten it down and it should come off. you'll want to cherry(make it glow) the back of the stud.i would remove all the bearings prior to doing it. the new studs are shorter so you will need to counter sink it about a 1/4" in the back of the hub. check the length..marc |
