Has anyone tried the new mud terrain from Goodyear? I wonder how it performs versus the BFG MT. Thanks for any feedback. |

I have a j**p buddy who has them. He loves them, great off road and impresive on road. They feel comfortable and handle well. This will probably be my next tire. Ken |

The MT/R's aren't a Mud Tire. MT/R stands for Maximum Traction / Reinforced. They are an All Terrain tire. The BFG MT's are true Mud terrain tires. |

Anon, I have seen MT/Rs on many rigs, and they impress me. I was 4 wheeling w/a guy who had MT/Rs on his Grand Cherokee and that thing went everywhere. On one section of the trail, there was a big muddy hill. There were only four vehicles there that could make it up, and that jeep was one of them. There were about 30 vehicles in our convoy, if that gives you an idea (and only three had mud tires!!). Check the tech disscusion board since this topic has been talked about before. Apparently the only bad thing about the MT/R is that it doesn't last very long on the road. Hope this helps. Max T. |

I have them and like them alot. They do better in the rocks then they do in the mud. But still alot better than a/t in the mud. |
