my friend ran across a guy with a 1972 in good condition.i'm not too knowledgable about what these old ones are worth and was wondering if anyone could give me a general idea.it's two door,hardtop,clean,i guess i'd be a series II.and it has the wide headlights.sorry to sound like a idiot but i'm more firmiliar with the new school stuff. thanks |

Michael, '72 would be a Series III and more than likely a 88" wheelbase. to get an idea of the value, Rover's North has a for sale section with Series trucks as does Land Rover Exchange (lrx.com). it will give you a ball park number. key item for a Series is the bulkhead. is it in good shape or is rusted like alot of old LRs.
