I am considering a replacement cylinder head from Wise Owl Parts for my series IIA. They offer a rebuilt head w/ 8:1 compression vs. the standard 7:1, as well as being rated for unleaded fuel. Has anyone done this switch? How complicated is it? It looks pretty straight forward, am I opening myself up for any unseen problems?

Piece 'O Cake!

3 hour job max!

Found it easier to remove bonnet, leave manifolds on-gives you an extra hand hol. Normally stand in the engie comaprtment, straddleing the engine (feet on frame) and lift straight up.

New gaskets of course, don't forget new copper washers on the oil pipe at rear.

BTDT!
