I don't care how much it costs, I just want a grease gun that doesn't fuck up. Looking for a pneumatic one. Any recommendations on brand?

sounds like operator error to me? lol!
we use the cheapo napa grease guns, don't seem to have many problems with them, and we maintain a fleet of over 500 vehicles etc...
the pneumatics are nice, but really, do you use it that much to justify the cost.
maybe you just like the idea of pushing a button and having the work done for you (well come to think of it, i don't think i mind that either).
that's just my blue collar opinion though,
marc

*sigh*

Mine is the super super el-cheapo from pop boys, and it just stops pumping anything, frustrating to say the least. And similar stories from others people too.

I want a pneumatic because you basically need 3 hands to grease the drive shafts conveniently.

I have a $24.95 one from Northern Tool. Replaced the metal tip with a flexible hose, it makes greasing ujoints a bit less of a hassle.

They carry a couple of other models, too.

i use the small one hand models....that way you have one hand to rotate/hold the part/shaft/joint and one to work the gun.

the only draw back is it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 tubes every time you grease...but once3 you get good at loading a grease gun correctly thats not a big deal.

in all the years I have been wrenching I still believe 99% of grease gun problems are user error when loading the gun.
