I'm looking for a good sawzall under $160. Not sure which one to get since there are so many different brands. Any recommendations? |

I've had good luck with a Porter Cable Tiger Saw. I've used it at least once a week for about a year and a half. It has worked great for everything from demolition to cutting 1/4 inch steel. I personally don't care for the yellow stuff because they use cheaper plastic parts. |

I've been using the original Sawzall for years. My first Milwaulke Sawzall lasted a very long time with a lot of use and I gave it to a friend and bought a new one. I love it. The Porter Cable's motor has more amps, but I have been able to cut everything I have needed so far. Just used it a few weeks ago to cut the top bolts off of my old shocks. Couldnt' get the damn bolts off so we just cut them. WOrked like a charm. |

I agree with zak the original sawzall is a great tool.I recently purchased a craftsman 8.0 amp sawzall for like 50 bucks if i remember correctly.I also use this same sawzall in a 10 amp version at work no problems, price is right.Cut everything I asked it to. |
