Does anyone have the Max Ax by Forrest Tool Company? What do you think about it? Do you know anywhere that might have it "on sale" for a lower price? Thanks in advance, Jamie |

It sucks. I had to use one and it was terrible. Get an ax and a shovel and save your money. The friskars (sp) ax is really nice and light to use, I have to get one sometime. I have a regular fibreglass cheap ax that I use most often and keep in the truck and it has served me well. I also don't feel bad about using the back for a hammer when needed. |

I have one and have used it with mixed results. The head is too light for my liking. I do like some of the attachments that come with it. I've used it mostly for firefighting the hoe works well and so does the shovel in soft earth. It has its uses. I also carry a machette for most of my chopping. Tyler |
