Any one used one of these or know if it would be any good, has to be more acurate than a treaded rod.

All I ever used was a tape measure. FWIW

I have a couple of lengths of threaded rod with couplers to connect them and at the ends.

Put at the rear of the rim, adjust to fit.

Place at the front of the rim and move toe out to 0-2mm.
