Usually i went the way of a 15mm spanner, But the last time i went to put a new serpentine belt on i had difficulties, and the fear of slipping off and amputing a finger, not wanting to remove the fan clutch, I had an idea!!! I used a bicycle pedal wrench, they have a 15mm side as well as a 9/16 side, Well, it just slipped right in and was thin enough to go between the fan and the fan clutch, This wrench is about 16" long and has great leverage, Changing the serp belt has never been easier!! Go figure? Peter. . |
