Can anyone recommend an alternative to OEM Land Rover 16" wheels? I have an 02' Freelander SE with the 17" wheels and I would like to replace them with 16" steel wheels so that I may have more tire selections for off roading and winter driving. Any suggestions?

Try Nathan at Discout Rovers. (www.discountrovers.com) He found the PN one time for me on the LR steel wheels (15") available in England.
 Hope this helps..

I just found another owner who put Chevy S10 steel wheels (15inch) on a Freelander, with Dunlop AT's. The 15 in gives bigger tire wall with higher profile tires for the same rollong radius. Looks good too, since the wheels are plian steel with a set of small cooling holes.

Discount Tire Direct has a nice set of Unique steel wheels in black that look really nice on the hippo with a good set of MT's! $49/each I think. Maybe a few $$'s cheaper.
