The Discovery is the Disco. We have Rangie, D90 and 110. "Freelander" is too long to say or type, it needs a nickname. Anybody know if they have come up with a nickname for it in Europe yet?

"Freddie"?
"Freebie"?
"FL"?
None of those are very good, does anybody have any suggestions?

How about,

"Fav" for Freelander activity vehicle. You know, like BMW has a SAV rather than an SUV.
or
"Frute" for FReelander mini UTE

I've been calling them "Fritos" (like the snack food) -- don't know exactly why, but it's what bubbled to the surface of my mind...

When they were first released here in Ausralia, the local dealer called them Freeloaders, I do some times as well.
