Having had my Frelander over two years now, and upgrading to my DII, when ever I drive the Freelander I am aware of a road noise that kicks in at around 30km/h (20mph) and hangs around until about 60km/h (40mph). Its a low frequency hum/vibration. You can't feel the vibration, but you can definitely hear it. The guys at the dealership tried to tell me it was the roof racks to which I replied with a curt "bullsh#t!!!" They have replaced the IRB (under warranty, not bad after four years) - noise still there, rotated the tyres - made it worse, did a wheel alignment - made no difference. Has anyone out there experienced anything similar??? At this stage (that of trying to sell the little guy) I would appreciate all the help I can get. cheers gtt |
