It appears that there is a problem with heater cores leaking on some Freebies. I have had very misty windows (all round) since the temp. dropped here in Michigan and after trying different window cleaners etc., took it into my dealer, LR FH. Their master tech. took a flashlight and immediately identified some red/orange coolant on the carpet by the gas pedal, under the center console. A faulty heater core is to blame. So have yours checked. If you don't live where the temp drops, you might not notice it as badly as us in cooler states. Check on the coolant dropping a bit (I'd already done that once) and search around on the floor under the dash on the driver's side. |
