Take back everything I said about wanting a Freelander! Yesterday, the missus tried to move the manual "child safety lock" into the lock position, and today that door will not open - from the outside or the inside. On the Disco, the inside door handle is made useless by engaging the child safety lock, but the outside one still works. Because that door will not open, we cannot check to make certain the lever is all the way in the "lock" position. Anyone had this happen? We're on our way to Greensboro tomorrow to have it looked after if no one has a home remedy! Thanks in advance. e |

We have our rear child safety locks on all of the time. NO this is not suppose to happen! <sarcasm> But take heart, they will probably give you a Disco as a loaner while they fix it </sarcasm>

LR Greensboro sorted things out right away with a new window switch and door latch to catch rod. We had to do that drive to the dealer, but they made it worth our while. e |

Eric, Is LR Greensboro that much better than the dealer here in Charlotte? G-boro would just be ~45min further than driving to Independance Blvd, even w/ I-485 open. Let's see if we can get a better turnout next time. B |
