Well my mom called me today to tell me that the local oil change place wouldnt change her oil. Im guessing they didnt have a filter i would assume. Anyone run into that problem? Where do you take yours? |

Most likely that's it. Or they were afraid to work on a Land Rover, or they didn't have any synthetic oil around, who knows. You only have to change it every 12k miles, so it might not be too bad to have the dealer do it for you. |

To change the oil you have to drop the aluminum plate on the bottom to access the filter. It isn't hard, just a pita. And the castrol synthetic is another thing, not alot of lube shops have the stuff in stock. Just get a filter from LR (or me) and change it in the driveway. David |
